Welcome to Simon’s Says. I am Simon Todd. I have been a technical engineer for many years working in the hosted arena and building XP Embedded Devices.
Through the years of hosted services, i have met, built and sold some of the best cloud based products available on the market, seen how they work for a customer and administrators and watched them change to become the market leaders we all know today.
Being an XPe builder i have learnt the tricks of the trade to build some great OS’s along with application analysis and packaging.
The most fun i have had as an engineer is simply Terminal Services. It brings a great variety of skills, customer interaction and pressure for me to call it the best area in IT!? Well yes controversial I would agree as there are loads of fun areas to discuss and work in.
So the point of this blog and hopefully many others to come is simply to share my knowledge and expertise, to pass on tips and tricks, tools and techniques and even the odd bit of humour.
